Wii wireless connection

Hello and thnx for any help that can be givin,

I have a Wii and a WGA54G Linksys Wireless-G game adapter. I was wondering
if anyone could help me out on how to connect the Wii to the wireless-G, I
have tried myself and failed many times. I used the cmd to find the
information on my ip and dns info and entered it correctly to both the
wireless-G and the Wii and for some reason i'm still getting no connection.
any help will be much appreciated.

are you using WEP or WPA?
