Default VISTA vs Windows XP Media Center Edtion.


I just bought Vista Ultimate edition.

I thik the ultimate has the same functionality as XP MCE yes?

Yes it does. With extras, like the ability to join a Windows Domain.

Basically it combines Home Premium with Business. As well there are a some
pluses and extras beyond either those two, as Vista U also includes
BitLocker whole drive encryption .. and quuite a number of extras for
download such Texas Hold'em.

One difference I've noticed. I can't import a video from my VCR, only from
my camera.

They screwed up MovieMaker for me!
