I'm running Home Premium, and have tired to install nvidia drivers for my 2
6800 GS cards. The install program goes normally, system reboots, and all seems well. Nvidia control panel opens fine. Rivatuner says it can't open nvsvc.dll and says there's no video driver loaded. I then open task manager, and low and behold, none of the services that the vid f\driver is supposed to load at boot have loaded. I have tried everything I know to no avail. Someone out there is /has had this issue, please offer some suggestion...... TIA |

You might try the windows Update feature - (I have the G-Force 6800 Audigy 2 ZS card) Good Luck - BChat |

When I installed vista, the driver upgrade failed....I have manually tried
installing with the install utility, update drivers and even by loading the inf file. The startup files show that the proper services are supposed to be loaded, but they aren't when I check task manager |

This is the only thing I can come up with - sorry. BChat |

Edit below to eliminate "Audigy 2 ZS" -
I am an idiot ;-) ----- David, I have a Nvidia card also. When I installed Home Premium it automatically updated the drivers. You might try the windows Update feature - (I have the G-Force 6800 Audigy 2 ZS card) Good Luck - BChat |
