1. is there a way to change the color on the task bar. It seems to be
stuck on Grey over Black. 2. is there away to permananently permit a script or program that is blocked on every login. I permit the blocked script, but I have to do it every time. There is a nice dialog box showing blocked programs, but it doesn't let you change anything about them. Its like "look but don't touch" I am logged in as an the domain admin > which make me a local admin |

Assuming you mean with the Aero interface, the answer would be -- sort of.
Open the Window Color dialog under the Personalize applet, then watch the taskbar while clicking on the different choices. You'll see it changing. Now, I'll have to admit that all of the taskbar colors you'll see are kind of grayish looking, but you'll have to admit that it really does change color. If you turn off Aero but keep the Vista theme you'll get a nice pale blue. (Well, some people think it's nice.) And, of course, there are always the Windows Classic themes. As for me, I kind of like my pinkish gray taskbar with the red-headed hula girl wallpaper (Don't ask.) and the Red window treatment.
