Do you have the appropriate holes poked in your firewall?

I had to poke multiple holes through Defender for my WMDC to work properly.
You'd think that two brand new MS products would work out of the box
together, but apparently not. They are both in Beta still though, I think.

I don't remember the exact symptoms I had, but I seem to remember getting
the funky connect noises, but not much activity. I don't know if I could
see the files on the unit or sync with Media player, though.
