Over-the-air is ATSC. So you need a card that has a QAM tuner in addition to ATSC. I have the FusionHDTV USB by DviCo. I have not tried it yet on Vista, but they have both 32-bit and 64-bit Vista drivers available for download. It also supposedly integrates with MCE, but I have not tried that either. The software that comes with it is terrible (I had to write a helper application to organize the channels the way I wanted them). But the device works well, and I like the USB because I can in principle use it with my laptop when traveling. David Wilkinson |

What I would like to find but cannot is a PCI-x (or just PCI) card with 2
RF connectors on the card itself, one for QAM (although I could live without this since all but over the air and very, very basic cable channels are scrambled) and one for ATSC w/tuner, and a desktop breakout box with 2 sets of HD capable component video (my current cable box HD output) and audio connections, and 2 or 3 HDMI connectors (for a next generation HD cable box, Blu-Ray and HD DVD. I'm not really interested in NTSC. If you find one, let me know.
