Default IE7

I am finding that IE7 is the slowest browser I have used. I have turned off
the phishing filter in the hope that it would speed things up. It's driving
me crazy waiting for things to load. I have even done a reset with no
results.
Any idea what can be causing this?

IE7 runs very fast on my 4 year old Gateway computer.

Turn off the Phishing filter.

It's under Tools, Phishing Filter.

Thanks Bill,
It has helped somewhat. Still not as fast as XP was on this computer.

Try the Open DNS to get incredible speed on any browser. Here is the link -

I see you're using RC1. I found that version of IE7 to be sluggish and
RC2 made a noticeable difference. I would say IE7 is running about the
same here as it did with XP. I'm using a fast dual-core system with
lots of RAM, so that could be a factor.
