Now, I get the same error message: Windows Setup: setup.exe - Application Error The exception unknown software exception (0xe0000100) occurred in the application at location 0x77e4028b. Try reburning the download image again - sounds like what happens when it

I'm receiving the very same error. It's after the initial Setup dialog and
before the product key is asked. However, I'm doing the install on a Virtual PC 2004 SP1 (5.3. 582.27). If I load the very same CD to a physical computer, it easily passes on to the Product Key. CD is not to blame here. That's rather bad. I hope MS has a Virtual PC add-on anytime soon, or at
least by the time of shipment. Vista is so advanced, it's not supported (officially) to have Vista run
inside it. We will see Virtual PC Express of which will be on Vista so you can put another OS on it whilst you're logged in. -- Zack Whittaker » ZackNET Enterprises: www.zacknet.co.uk » MSBlog on ResDev: www.msblog.org » Vista Knowledge Base: www.vistabase.co.uk » This mailing is provided "as is" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
