Dear Team,
I, too, and having a similar problem running Outlook 2007 TR under Windows Vista RC1. Many functions (Send All; pick up mail into Inbox of an HTTP service (Microsoft Network), Print) respond with a generic message "Not implemented," or have a null response, or suggest "If this problem persists reinstall Outlook." I've run Office Diagnostics from the hard drive installation, as well as "Repair" from the CD, to no avail. I'll try uninstalling Outlook 2007, and post those results if promising. Regards! I figured it out, its a Default Prorams glitch if you're running another
browser (other than IE7) as your default. Click Start, Default Programs, Click Set Program Access and Computer Defaults. Check on the "Internet Explorer" option in "Choose a default web browser" of the "Custom" and click the OK button. Now close your IE and Outlook if they are open. Then fire the Outlook and it will be okay to click on links in your emails. Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.6 installation modified the value of this registry key "computer\HKey_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.htm". But manully update the registry is a dangurous thing if you do not know the exactly values of the keys you are going to modify. Once the hyperlink issue is fixed install Firefox 1.5.0.7, then set it as the default through the Firefox Program and ignore the messages from IE that it is no longer the default browser. Then your links work in Outlook. This worked for me, for more details go here: http://www.cnblogs.com/CrazyCoder/a.../06/496187.html |

Finally got this to work
Here is the fis for this issue: http://www.cnblogs.com/CrazyCoder/a.../06/496187.html This will happen if you're using a browser other than (better than) IE, like Fiefox. Just set IE7 as the default browser via Default Programs from the Start Menu and under Set Access and Program Defaults. Then set Firefox as the default by setting it in Firefox (not through Default Programs). This should fix all your issues, make sure you have 1.5.0.7. |
