I just install Vista for 2 days. Since I install it on a small partition, I
want to free up disk space by disabling hiberfil function. I can find the "hiberfil.sys" file but the system does not allow me to delete the file. I know it is required to disable the hiberfil function before I delete the file. So can anyone tell me the correct steps to disable this function? Thanks for your reply. |

As an administrator, choose the cleanup function in the control panel (
search for remove unused in the CPs search field ) - I don't have Vista open at the moment, so I don't remember its name :-) There you have the option of removing temporary files etc - and - the Hibernation File. /Tor "kopdl" <jiodl@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:%232ReoPL4GHA.988@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... >I just install Vista for 2 days.
