Which Vista Verison is Included in RC 1
I plan on finishing a custom media center PC this weekend and would like to
install and test Vista MCE. Which versions are included on the download, Ultimate, Home Premier, etc? Want to make sure I have the Media Center interface. Thanks. |

All editions are on the dvd. Don't enter a product key and you will get a
choice. However, none but Ultimate will activate, and for that you must enter the pk. You have 14 days to evaluate Home Premier before you need to reinstall Ultimate. By the way, the Media Center interface is in Ultimate so why not just install Ultimate in the first place? Actually all Vista versions are included in "Ultimate" version- which version is installed will be dependent on the product key.
