VMWare server on RC1

In doing software development I often use Virtual Server (which works on
Vista) but prefer VMWare server (which last time I checked did not work
on Vista). Does anyone have any recent experience with running VMWare
server on Vista?

In addition to someone here who may have made it work, this is a good thread
for the VMWare forums.
