The next release for the Customer Preview Program (CPP) is Release Candidate 1 (RC1) that will be available in August, September, October... Enrollment for the CPP closed 30 June 2006. There is some debate about whether this will be released only to those currently enrolled in the CPP or if it will be a general public release. It will most likely be the latter, although this is unconfirmed and only a guess. If you are a member of either (or both) MSDN or TechNet, you would have to inquire with those programs as to which build is the next one you are eligible to receive and test. -- Mark My favourite so far: Unknown device has been correctly installed. |

MSDN Tester's (All except Library) and Tech Net Plus Tester's will indeed
receive Release Candidate 1, because will be a Mile Stone Build, and not an Interim Build, just FYI. We have been promised that we will receive all Mile Stone Build's (for example, if by some chance there is either a Beta 3 Release, or a Release Candidate 2 Release, us MSDN Tester's and Tech Net Plus Tester's will automatically receive that release, even if it is not released to the General Public, just FYI). The Next Release to the CPP Program is Release Canditate 1, just FYI.
P.S. If you sign up to be an MSDN OS Level Tester, you will get access to not only Beta 2 and RC 1, but also Build 5472, just FYI. According to the CPP web site, 31 May, 2007, but you can check the exact
time yourself by clicking the Start "Orb," typing "winver" and pressing Enter. -- Mark My favourite so far: Unknown device has been correctly installed.
