Windows will quite happily sort it out for you. |

I had no problems installing Vista and dual-booting on my XP Pro machine. I
installed Vista Beta 2 on a separate SATA HD. I have not yet experimented with printing from Vista. I wouldn't scoff at third party boot managers too much. XP creates a few
problems for Vista that hiding one from the other can prevent. Mark Vandenberg and a few others recommend it to prevent loss of Vista system restore points, for example. I certainly don't plan to dual boot XP and Vista without such precautions once Vista is out and I start using it in production. Just saying that people do not NEED a third party program as he suggested. |

Nevertheless, unlike XP and earlier versions of Windows, Vista does need
protection from XP and the current MS bootloader doesn't do it. You seem to know as much about dual booting Windows XP and Vista as you do the English language. > hey guys if you want to duel boot into xp and vista you need a program > called > Bootit > > im useing it to duel boot from xp pro to vista on the same machine > but cant seem to get my lexmark x6170 printer to print on vista > > jj |
