Unable to get back into XP

Since installing Vista today I have been denied acces to XP because I never
created a user profile. Why is Vista interfering with the other systems on
my computer, and is there any way to get around this?

Are you being denied when you restart the system and choose to boot into XP?
Or are you being denied access to files on the XP partition while you are in
Vista? You question does not say what action you are taking.
