After installing Windows Live Messenger, IE7+ is not responding

Yes, It happens when I upload a image if it does not exist.

Any known fixes for this problem? It happens to me when I try to click on
the mail link in Live Messenger...

Try resetting I.E. in Control Panel - Internet Options - Advanced - Reset
I.E. to default settings
