If it is that critical of a machine, I wouldn't do it.
However, your settings and documents will be saved if you do an upgrade. BUT, sometimes things don't go right, and you have the possibility of losing it all. So, make sure you backup just in case! -- --------------------------------------------------------------- Dustin Harper http://www.overclockersrip.net "daniel" <daniel@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:FB8F8E80-335B-49BD-B745-CFCA5AAB89E1@microsoft.com... > im runnin xp pro on my laptop. i want to install vista beta 2. will i > loose > all my files or will just upgrade to vista without loosing any files? > what about all my programs will they be useless? will i be able to run > source engine to play halflife 2- counter-strike? will i have to > re-install > them or no? > |
