I have used a script in the past to get the Computer SerialNumber using the
WMI class Win32_BIOS. The same script does not work in Vista. Any ideas what changes I will need to make to get this information from Vista? Thanks |

Try disabling UAP and run the script again:
1) Turn off UAP - simple article here )http://www.vistabase.co.uk/welcome....rity/disableuap -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta "Toni" <Toni@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:1C60F10C-7EFD-406E-8D9F-E126142D1A6D@microsoft.com... >I have used a script in the past to get the Computer SerialNumber using the > WMI class Win32_BIOS.
