Do you know if this will be on the MSDN subscriber downloads today, or are we
still talking about a couple days later as it usually has been?

It will not be released on MSDN Subscriber Downloads until Thursday, Febuary
23rd, 2006 (Redmond Time).

P.S. Take a close look at the Microsoft File Transfer Manager 5.0
Announcement on the MSDN Subscriber Downloads Home Page and you'll see what
I mean.

P.P.S. We (MSDN Subscriber's) had to wait an extra day to get our hands on
the December CTP, so we (MSDN Subscriber's) will most likely have to wait
until Tomorrow, to get access to the Febuary CTP, as well.

Copy and Paste from my MSDN Subscriber Downloads Home Page.

Announcing FTM 5.0

On Thursday, February 23rd, File Transfer Manager (FTM) 5.0 will be
released. When a new file transfer is initiated, you will be asked to
download the FTM 5.0 client. Existing downloads with the FTM 4.0 will
continue, only new downloads are affected.

What's new in FTM 5.0:

a.. Multi-Segment Download Acceleration provides acceleration for
high latency Internet connections. Download acceleration is only used if a
file is greater than 2 MB and download acceleration is set to No Speed Limit
in FTM's options.
b.. File verification. FTM 4.0 validated each data block as files
were transferred. FTM 5.0 goes one step further to verify file integrity by
validating the full file after it has been written to disk.
Please visit FTM Central for more information about FTM 5.0. If you
are using Windows XP SP2, you may need to follow the XPSP2 Install
Instructions to install FTM 5.0.

I see earlier builds on MSDN subscriber downloads, but I don't see 5308.

Be patient. It should be there by 11:59pm PST. (some day!)
