Any multiple-resolution LCDs yet?

I would like to convert our primary home PC to a 19" flat screen to
save space and reduce flicker issues. However, I run into two problems
related to resolution: (1) different members of the family prefer
different resolutions (2) many of our older games are hardcoded to
800x600.

Are there as of yet any LCD or other flatscreen technology monitors
that do a decent job of handling multiple resolutions? Most LCDs look
terrible when you take them out of the native resolution.
