Default Inkjet Cartridge Refill Disaster...

Hi Guys,

I just made this movie about my Inkjet Cartridge Refill Disaster...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxkMBpf9YGg

It shows that you really need to know what you're doing, otherwise
things get messed up. And believe me, you don't want this to happen to
you.

Nice buildup, but I would have liked to see more details as to how it all
got that way. Were you using OEM ink? That seems to have a definite bearing
on the final outcome.

What a waste of bandwidth.

I still eat with a knife and fork and manage not to stab myself too.
The video looks phoney, but that could happen if a person flung stuff
all over with the ink exposed. Anybody that needs a video to remind
them is too stupid to be saved anyway.
Oh, excuse me, that's your inkjet!

Do you also videotape yourself when the print something?...."because you
really need to know what you're doing, otherwise things get messed up.
And believe me, you don't want this to happen to you.

Basic refilling: drill hole, inject ink, seal hole. It's not rocket
science - unless the person doing the filling was one of the Three
Stooges ;-)....

If you managed to accomplish that mess while refilling cartridges I
would advise you to never pick your nose or you might cause permanent
brain damage to yourself.

I'm surprised at you, T. I expected some of these guys to take that
video seriously instead of what it was obviously meant to be, but *you*?
Have you been battling with Misanthrope so long that you've lost your
sense of humor?

When you lose the ability to laugh at yourself, all of your perceptions
become skewed.

You must be joined at the hip to that ****ing idiot meashershithead, right?
Use a kitchen knife to get free or forever be considered a brainless moron.
Or maybe that's what you and meashershithead really are related.

What did you do? Put the ink in a blender with the top off?

I didn't even make that much of a mess with the gas-charged cylinder of ink
provided by NCR as part of a refill kit.

This actually scared me more:

I haven't seen the video. Don't plan to see the video. There have
been several previous posts regarding refilling disaster hoaxes
(printers exploding and burning them, yeah right). I reply in a
serious manner as newbies come here on a daily basis with real
questions. Anyone posting "disaster" articles, be they real or hoaxes,
might needlessly confuse people. Besides, there's nothing particularly
humorous about refilling... unless it makes it to America's Funniest
Videos. Call me when it does, and maybe then I'll laugh :-)
