Attendee Availability

I cannot see the availability of attendees when trying to make an
appointment with other staff, even though I can open their calendars.
I'm using a newly upgraded Exchange 2003 server with Outlook 2000.
I've tried kb822444 to resolve the issue with no success and this has
created another problem of duplicate emails being sent, but that is a
problem for another board. I have also tried OUTLOOK /cleanfreebusy
in the run command with no luck. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
