How come I do not get the screen to make an appointment

I am trying to make an appointment but when I hit the new, then appointment.
I do not get the screen to make the appointment. I do not get the subject or
locaton, times. nothing. It did work yesterday, but today when I am trying to
enter an appointment in my calendar nothing happens.

Close Outlook, reboot Windows.
