Default Calendar items in a resource's calendar

We are currently testing out resource booking in outlook. We experience that
all users who are permitted to book a resource and therefore can view the
resources calendar, are able to see all details about all calendar items, not
only the ones which one has booked themselves.
We would like to hide all details for other people but time of meeting and
who is the meeting organizer.
Does someone know ??

Exchange 2007 will be the first version to support that.

Outlook 2007 is the first version to allow users to hide the details of their
appointments from other users who are able to view their busy/free schedule?
That seems odd, because when I'm viewing a Group Schedule or setting up
meetings, some of the users seem to have their details hidden, and they are
not using Outlook 2007. I think all users in my group use Outlook 2002.

What Exchange+Outlook 2007 offers goes beyond what earlier versions offer. Users will be able to hide not just appointment details but also hide all availability information (what I call the "exalted executive" option). A user can apply four different levels of free/busy access -- from none to full -- on a user-by-user basis, just as you might do with folder permissions. (In fact, the controls are on the Permission tab.)

What you're seeing is more likely to be related to the permissions on the users' Calendar folders.

I'm finding if I mark a meeting private that has a resource, it locks up the
meeing. It can't be deleted, opened, canceled, etc. I am an owner of that
resource.
