The ICON is missing from the task bar. I read previous posts on this and I
followed all instructions. The problem is that the iCON is listed in Customize Notifications as a past item. How do I get it moved to Current Items? Running WD ver 1.1.1593.0, w/XP sp2 Thanks. |

This is a known issue with Windows XP - some say `a bug`.
There are some work arounds which may or may not work in your situation. http://www.tech-pro.net/howto_013.html Stu "Duke" wrote: > The ICON is missing from the task bar. That happened to me for the first time ever this morning, and nothing I could think of would prise it out of 'past items'. However, it reappeared as normal after a computer restart. |
