Connect to CF2.0 Device with Studio 2005 HOWTO?

Hello NG,

with Visual Studio 2003 and a CF1.0 Device i was used to use the:
"Windows CE .NET Utilities for Visual Studio .NET 2003.EXE"

Just start the "SDAuthUtilDevice.exe" on the CF1.0 device and than connected
to Studio 2003.


Now i have Studio 2005 and a CF 2.0 Device (with Win CE 5.0)
Is their any similar tool like this for 2005?

Somehow the ActiveSync connection does not work for me.

(I am able to connect to the CF2.0 device over ftp and VNC
so the Ethernet Connection ist their)

Try with ActiveSync 4.5.0 (Build 5059) Beta.

could you post a link? I cant find it on google or on the Microsoft page...

I don't remember the link. If you have a FTP server post the link or if you
prefer to send it to your email I do it. The size of file is 7.5Mb.

Hi,

try the Conmanclient2.exe and the cmaccess.exe. Both in the VS2005
direcrtory for your CPU!
First start Conmanclient2.exe and let it open, then start cmaccess.exe
and connect with TCP/IP.
