Hi there
I have 17 different disks (intern harddrives as well as usb drives) in my send to menu. Is it possible to remove those. I never use them and they makes it more difficult to get to the few items that i actually use. I am a programmer so I am not afraid of the registry..;-) Thanks in advance Asger |

It's a folder. Are you afraid of folders? *grin* First - try this: Start button --> RUN --> Sendto --> OK In theory - that should open: %SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings\%username%\SendTo If it does not - then try: Start button --> RUN --> %USERPROFILE%\SendTo --> OK Remove whatever you want. -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html |

Hi Shenan Stanley
Thanks for Your answer. Yeaa,, I kind of know that it is a folder and i have changed it's location so the sendto menu comes with my items, but it does not remove all the drives and when i try what You suggested the drives are not vissible in that folder iether, sorry. I think it is something XP adds to the menu in the moment I right click on a file. If i pull out my usb drives they disapear from the menu, in other words i don't think they exist in any folder. Any other ideas Thanks again best regards Asger "Shenan Stanley" <newshelper@gmail.com> skrev i en meddelelse news:O6%23rNohbHHA.1296@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > Asger Jørgensen wrote: >> I have 17 different disks (intern harddrives as well as usb drives) >> in my send to menu. >> Is it possible to remove those. if you moved it from its standard location, then look where you moved it to and edit the folder there.

Hi Shenan Stanley
Thank You very much For Your ansver. I will try this TweakUi, but i was hoping for a solution where i could remove ony the items in the menu, without hiding the drives. Thanks anyway, that tool can come in handy.:-) Best regards Asger |
