Default hyperlinks


http:/www.distirct5cnlions.com/main.htm
questin is the members area hyperlink in the top navigation bar
can i asspwrd protect this link so a dialog box pops up and asks for a
password and user name and the automatically redirects the person to a sucure
page??

if so can you walk me through this

You cannot password protect the link, but you can password protect the
page(s) the link points to.

Password Protect Part of a Web: (Requires FrontPage extensions on
server, and host must support subwebs with unique permissions)

Protect individual pages: (Requires Windows Server with support for ASP
and Access database)

If your server is Unix or does not support asp or Access, you may find
PHP/mySQL solutions instead.
