Shouldn't need to install a driver in XP.. The MS generic drivers should
install automatically, if the Hardware Wiz pops up just click it away.. Look in device manager for the optical drive.. http://www.computerhope.com/win95er.htm http://support.microsoft.com/kb/283658/en-us http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314464/en-us Did you install the drive yourself..? http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-6603_7-5118840-1.html Cheers j;-j <cgoodman11@gmail.com> wrote in message news:1172119534.635410.83440@h3g2000cwc.googlegroups.com... > My computer recognizes that its plugged in and hardware wizard pops > up.
