Default Installing burner

My computer recognizes that its plugged in and hardware wizard pops
up. It doesn't display the make of the burner so I can download the
driver.
Thank you Corry

Default Re: Installing burner

Shouldn't need to install a driver in XP.. The MS generic drivers should
install automatically, if the Hardware Wiz pops up just click it away..
Look in device manager for the optical drive..

Did you install the drive yourself..?
