I had a major problem with my computer. a2 indicated I had a trojan of some sorts, gave me a long list of 34 things it had foud. Plus, I had lost the capability of downloading the games on iwin.com So guess what I did, i deleted and re downloaded windows xp , works, and office xp 98, tried erassing fierfox mozalla, just wanted my old internet explorer back. I was a pain to do so, couldnt tell you how often it rebooted my computer and kept saying win32 file missing or damaged, etc. And now, its saying that the control volume was not installed. I used to have a little icon near my clock, like a little round load speaker. I used to be able to acces this acces panel to ajust sound, mic speaker, equalizer, etc. Now its not even there any more and people tell me i keep fading away when speaking to them on mic. Help!!! -- Sugar |

Go to:
Start then Control Panel. Double click 'Sound and Audio Devices'. Put a tick next to 'Place volume icon in the taskbar' |

As per your suggestion, I did that. And guess what? I got this message with a big red circle with an x in it, and the message said: something to the effect of: volume control program was not installed. -- Sugar |

I tried to type everything correctly and all... i even tried typing in different drives to see if i was making a drive letter mistake, but nope... And it gets worse, word isnt even recognizing my key code... -- Sugar |
