I have a problem with Windows Messenger. For some reason I do not have
complete use of it. I would like to uninstall the (old) program and start again but the program is not listed in the listing for 'Add and Remove' from Control Panel. Can I safely 'delete' it from the Programs list and then download the latest version of Messenger via the hotmail site? Your help would be welcome. |

It is, under Add/Remove Windows Components but you can't uninstall it, it just removes access. |

Hi Gerry,
I believe Gordon is mistaken. If it only removed access, and not the component, why would Disk Cleanup list it as an option to recover more disk space?
