Dear all,
My company user always complaint the network is slow, accessing the network drive and transmitting e-mail. What should I do? Jonathan |

You should determine if the network is indeed slow and if it is, find out why and fix it. Based on this and your other post, you might want a local professional with networking and domain expertise to come in and take a look at your setup. I'm not saying this to hurt your feelings in any way, but am just being practical. Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!" MS-MVP Windows - Shell/User |

Thanks malke,
Our company have financial difficulty. I rephrase my question. How to prove the network is not slow? What will the expertise do to prove the network is not slow? I'm sorry to hear about your company's financial difficulties. This means that you will need to spend a great deal of time researching how to troubleshoot a network. This is not something you can get in a few sentences from a newsgroup. Here are a few good sites to start: http://www.practicallynetworked.com/ http://www.ezlan.net http://www.tomsnetworking.com http://www.wown.info/ http://www.howtonetworking.com/default.htm http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ For everything else, use Google.
