im trying to do a repai because ive benn getting a lot of errors. when i
insert my reinstallation cd and i press r for repair i am asked for my password. i have no password! i tried administrator but it dsoesnt work. any ideas? |

You're in the Recovery Console. The password it wants is the one for the built-in Administrator account. It is probably a blank. However, if you are trying to do a Repair Install you are in the wrong place anyway. You don't want to be in the Recovery Console for that. thanks. ill give the link a try. i tried to leave it blank also but it said
after 3 trys i have to reboot. If you have set a password for that account then you will have to provide it
there. |
