resend: Access rights to CD/DVD burner

Hi. Is it possible using Windows 2K or XP security settings to deny access
to a
non-administrator user to the burning part of a CD/DVD burner but still
allow them to read discs from that same drive? Thanks.

If you disable the IMAPI service then a non-admin user cannot use the
built-in burning feature of XP, but will still be able to read the disk.
