problem with inbox (outlook express)

Hello,

My Inbox shows 1 unread file in the LH pane, (i.e. Inbox(1) ) but nothing
is visible in the main RH window. I have checked 'view' is set to 'show all
files'. Can anyone explain what's happened & how to delete the file ?

I'm going to guess that the Inbox may be corrupt.

Close OE, Click on Start/Search and find Inbox.dbx. Then delete it. When
you open OE the next time, inbox will be created once again.

Hello,

It occurs to me also when I delete an unread mail while Outlook is
retrieving mail.

The way to resolve it (or my way) is to mark a mail as unread, select the
mail and wait for it to turn "read".
