continually fba reboot

hi all;
this common problem occurs after xpe booting. The main system is a
Dell laptop and have only one HDD. There are 3 different partitions: C
for Win Xp System folders, D for Win Xp embedded image, E for
music,video..etc.

In the target designer, target device configuration like this :

Boot Drive = D:
Windows Folder = D:\Windows
Program Files Folder = D:\Program Folders
Documents and Set.. = D:\Document and...
Boot Arch Path = multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)

The boot.ini configuration like follows:

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home
Edition" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP
Embedded Edition" /fastdetect

I guess the problem is related to incompatible booth arch path. Since
the FBALOG gives that

Obviously you need to change the boot drive options in TD. I think you already know that. (from D to E)

If your question is why it should be E, then I can think of possible explanation. Do you have a CD/DVD drive in that laptop? If you
do, it probably gets assigned letter D:.

hi again;
i did it
i changed the boot drive option form D to E.
I wonder the underlying reason. What is the matter with drive D. ?
