I am running Windows XP Embedded, and I would like to know how to startup a
custom program when the computer is powered on. I am aware of placing the executable in the 'startup' directory, but that executes the software only after logon. Any help would be greatly apperciated. Thanks |

Do you want to application to be the Shell? there is an article about creating a custom shell: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/ms838335.aspx or do you want a standard shelll like explorer and have the application to start each time? There is a RUN registry setting that you can setup.
