First off, your system's BIOS must support 48 bit Large Block
Addressing. Second,your XP installation CD must include at
least Service Pack 1 in order to utilize the full capacity of
your new hard drive.

To get around this limitation, you'll need to create what's
called a "slipstreamed" XP installation CD which will include
Service Pack 2.

Create a Slip Stream version of Windows XP
