You are creating the partition on the hard drive with the original
(first release) of XP. This version of XP had a problem with detecting hard drives larger that 130 GB. In order to get the 250GB recognised, you need to use a XP install CD that has SP1, or SP2, slipstreamed onto it. Starting with SP1, this "size" problem was "fixed" (for now.) If you have trouble with slipstreaming the Service Packs onto the CD, try looking at Autostreamer. Niklas wrote: > Greetings. Got an all new computer in parts. What can be the problem? Thanks for any help. |
