Frustrated with my VGA Cable extension

Hello!
I just bought a very nice new computer with a Core 2 Duo Processor and a
nice dual NVIDIA 7100 GS Video Card for my two 17" LCDs (1280 x 1024). I do
have a problem, however.
Since the computer sounds like a 747 (even though I payed for the "good"
fans), I decided to stuff it in a closet and extend all the cables in order
not to hear it. I bought two 25ft. long VGA cables to connect the LCDs.
However, when I use these cables, the image gets blurry on both screens.
Anyone know how to stop this from happening?

You're going to need something to boost the signal over that long a length -
50 feet if I understand you right. BlackBox is one vendor that has vga
exenders. However, make sure whatever you get will do the resolution you
want over the length you have.

Like Brett says, you need better cables. The higher the
resolution(frequency) and the longer the distance, the greater the cost
per foot of cable. You would probably be money ahead to research the
cooling options on the PC, to reduce the noise level.

You may have paid for good fans but you apparently got good loud fans.

There are plenty of suppliers of guaranteed quite fans & coolers.
Graphics card fans, if your particular version has one, can be a cause also

If your PC is stuffed in the closet then you may get heat problems,
personally I'd change the fans.
