Log-in not automatically anymore

On several computers of me and my friends we use Windows Messenger (4.7 and
5.1) and have been using it for long time. On most computers Windows
Messenger is set up to start and log-in automatically when Windows starts.
This has worked fine, but for some weeks now the auto-log-in doesn't work
anymore. When I right-click the icon and say Log-In, I get an error message.
I can then enter my name and password. If I cancel and try again, it works!
However, on some computers I loose connection regularly and have to manually
log-in often.

I guess this is a problem with one of the last security updates as all these
computers have the most up-to-date updates installed. Please Microsoft, fix
this annoying bug.
