Default RE: Can't automatically sign in to Windows Messenger

Reading the additional responses and having spoken to more of my contacts, I
see this as a real problem regardless of MSWM level (4.7 to 5.1) and MSIE (v
6.0 to 7.0). The indications are that MSWM starts at boot up but does NOT
logon automatically despite the fact that auto-logon is checked on the
preferences page. I am hopeful that someone at MS reads these posts and
confirms which security update needs to be removed if in fact it was caused
by one. I am not in the mood nor do I have the time to peal off one update at
a time to determine the KB of cause. Can someone please help with this
issue???
