I need to put background music on my website for school the school uses the
program NVU and I know how to background music because the school computers use quickplay player and mine does windows media player and I don't know to work with that |

Background sound can be inserted in any version of FP.
You need the 'authoring' settings set correctly. I believe to "IE only" rather than one of the other options as "Bgsound" is an IE only HTML tag. BGSound is inserted through right clicking the page, go to properties. Buying FP2003 won't solve the OP's problem (Trevor L wasn't the original poster, he was trying to clarify the OP's question).
