Default Recycle bin doesn't


when I click the Icon the Icon dims but nothing happens----------short
history-----crashed-2weeks at techs--also lost EXCEL--I can get into XL by
triple clicking cancel but have been able to do anything withy the recycle
bin-------is there another way to open recycle bin?
