Hi
Which email sending script is best Cdonts or jmail or is there an even better one? Thanks Paul M |

They're not scripts - you still need to write your own script. Cdonts is
obsolete, Cdosys has replaced it and will do most of what you need if you're using asp and only need to send email. Jmail would be a good choice if you need to receive email as well as send it. It all depends on your server and your needs.
I have used CDONTS in the past without issues. It was only released with NT4 and W2k. W2k - 2003 all have a newer version available which is a little more robust (CDOSYS). I need to send form results to an email address so I would only use the jmail to send the email. Is cdosys still best for this? It depends on what your web host offers (contact them and ask what they
support) and what you feel more comfortable with.
