Moving to a new server

I just got word that our internal web site is being moved to a new server.Is
there an easy way for all the linked documents and the hoover buttons to
automatically acknowledge the change in server location? Last time they did
this I had to manually update all the links and hoover buttons. This
includes probably 500 plus linked documents. Thanks alot!

It doesn't matter what server you're on as long as all your links are
relative links or the URL doesn't change. I'm not sure what it is you have
to "fix". Just publish the site to the new server and you'd shouldn't need
to make any changes.

Return of the phantom "hoover" buttons!

You don't need to do much at all if the URL is the same. All you need do is
put in the new logon details for the new server.

Just do a full publish to the new server.
