I can only access Movie Maker from the Help Support Menu. It is not located
in Start/Programs/Accessories. How can I get the program in my program files? When I SEARCH for the the program, it doesn't show up. Thank you |

Enter... C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache\moviemk.exe Next / Finish... Now you should see the Movie Maker icon on your desktop. -- ******John Inzer******** **MS Picture It! Thanks, John. I can open the program from the run menu. However when I
attempted the shortcut, the error messages said that file could not be found. Program also not in start/all programs "John Inzer" wrote: > MadzMom wrote: > > I can only access Movie Maker from the Help Support Menu. > > It is not located in Start/Programs/Accessories. Program also not in > start/all programs ============================== Just a thought...did you copy/paste to be sure there were no typos in the path? Ok...try this...go to... C:\Program Files\Movie Maker... Open the folder and right click the moviemk.exe icon...and from the menu... choose...Pin to Start Menu... or... Send To / Desktop (create shortcut). Or...maybe moviemk.exe is in a different folder on your system. Try doing a search for moviemk.exe and see where you find it. Start / Search / moviemk.exe be sure the following boxes are checked: Search System Folders Search Hidden Files and Folders Search subfolders The entry you are seeking has an icon that looks like a film reel. -- ******John Inzer******** **MS Picture It!
