Default Mouse freezing issue

Hey all,

I use a Logitech Cordless Click! Plus mouse and have begun having a problem I haven't had in over a year.

When I stop moving the mouse for at least 10 seconds, the cursor freezes on the screen until I right or left click, which allows it to move again.

Highly irritating.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

It sounds like it is going into sleep mode prematurely - I'm not sure why, but someone else might?

You say this hasn't happened for a year?

One of my mates has just bought a wireless mouse which does the same thing all the time - only that's normal practice!

Something to do with the wireless switching off to save battery, I think. It might be a useless suggestion, but have you checked the batteries?

Thank you for responding.

* Hm. Sleep mode eh? Can't seem to find any way to fiddle with that.

* Batteries are good to go, got lots of juice in em'.

Very bizarre behavior.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Is it an optical or ball mouse?

Thanks everyone. My lady fiddled with it and got it to work - however, she won't tell me how she did it. So mysterious!

I appreciate all of the responses.

Thank you very much.
