Multiple desktop icons in windows explorer left pane

I can't find any article related to having multiple desktop icons showing in
the left pane of windows explorer. I don't know when it actually happens,
but it messes up the explorer please help. I have a picture saved of what it
looks like, don't know to to post it here though.

Hi Ro,

This problem (bug?) occurs if the Desktop toolbar (deskband) is enabled in
the Taskbar. Turning if off will workaround the problem.
