Default Wireless network

I know alot of people have wireless network going.

But if there network is,nt locked , How would they know your stealing there net?

Can you trace someone back on a wireless router.

Hi Michael..

It is possible for the MAC Address of the offending PC's WLAN Card to be recorded in the Wireless AP's Log file.
With the assumption that DHCP is enabled, then it is happily handing out IP addresses to all that request them!

Yep but even with a ip you can,t find where they are.

There isp would not give out there name or home without the court doing so.

they can record your MAC address and then if they suspect you of doing it they'll prob need to get a court order to check if its you or not

if they can do all that then their netowrk should be secured so you should be ok

if your worried look up mac spoofing

yes you can definetly trace them back.........
with the help of mi5....

make sure you deattach your wireless card from your pc/laptop

No worry about that.


Am using my own network and not someone else.

But just goes to show how many people don,t locked them

Pick up about 15 network in the car unlock.
