Wireless network
I know alot of people have wireless network going.
But if there network is,nt locked , How would they know your stealing there net? Can you trace someone back on a wireless router.

Hi Michael..
It is possible for the MAC Address of the offending PC's WLAN Card to be recorded in the Wireless AP's Log file. With the assumption that DHCP is enabled, then it is happily handing out IP addresses to all that request them! |

they can record your MAC address and then if they suspect you of doing it they'll prob need to get a court order to check if its you or not
if they can do all that then their netowrk should be secured so you should be ok if your worried look up mac spoofing

No worry about that.
Am using my own network and not someone else. But just goes to show how many people don,t locked them Pick up about 15 network in the car unlock. Quote:
